Message Anemic is the only way I can accurately think to describe the NA whenever I drove it to work after buying the TT. I drove the two back-to-back regularly for a short while. The TT feels so much more robust even when not in boost. As for the "violent" power delivery, I have to disagree. It is instant, yes, if you have the proper plumbing, but certainly not violent. You just put your foot down and there it is, and yes, the more you lay into the throttle the more it pulls, but in all honesty...no duh, it's a powerful car. Welcome to the world of powerful cars.

I think alot of your assessment of the two is clouded by your preconceptions of the two cars.

As for your gas mileage, that is a problem with your car, not TT's. My TT only dips below 20mpg when it is constantly driven with the AC on. Otherwise it reliably gets 22mpg, sometimes more. I can honestly say I boost nearly every single time I drive the car too. I have seen more than a few posts here of other TT's that receive the same mileage, so a properly running TT clearly will get reasonable gas mileage.

Though I totally agree that the NA is still a very capable and fun car. I had NO regrets about owning my NA, learned alot, and had a LOT of fun with it, especially after the suspension upgrades.

Tsk tsk, some people just don't know when to stfu
